I recently heard an industry consultation say “Everyone deserves to start a business, not everyone deserves to stay in business.” I like you was a little jolted by this statement, but quickly my problem-solving side jumped out and I began thinking about what is it that some small business owners do that gets them into the “deserve” camp and allows them to grow and thrive. As small business owners we know we have challenges to overcome so what do the contenders do differently from the pretenders? We are going to ask you to hold up the proverbial mirror and ask your selves the hard question that can lead you to answer “Am I doing what I need to do to give my business a chance for success.?”
